About Us

Musaic Vocal Ensemble is an adult mixed choir that has been based in Summerland, BC, Canada, since 1995. They delight in singing a wide variety of sacred and secular repertoire in performances throughout the Okanagan Valley and beyond, including competing in the prestigious International Choral Kathaumixw festival in 2014. Musaic’s vision is to inspire and unite its members through choral music, achieve high artistic standards, explore diverse programming, and reach audiences within the Okanagan and beyond. Recent musical repertoire ranges from classical to jazz to gospel, and recent highlights include Verdi’s Requiem with the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, Bob Chilcott’s The Little Jazz Mass, A Child’s Christmas in Wales and James Whitbourn’s Annelise, based on the Diary of Anne Frank. Recently, we participated in Trifecta, a collaborative concert with two other talented groups in the Penticton area. Musaic regularly welcomes new singers to audition for membership, especially those with a strong music-reading background. Interested individuals, please contact one of the email addresses listed on the contact page.

We respectfully acknowledge that we are located on the traditional unceded lands and territories of the Syilx Okanagan people, who have resided here since time immemorial. We are grateful to the original peoples of this land for the ability to share their lands where we work, live and sing.
